The latest generation of the Volkswagen Golf R reimagined through my brutalist CGI lens.
This project explores the balance between showcar extremity and real-world legality. An aggressive widebody conversion pushes the proportions beyond OEM limits, while retaining a street-legal presence. The car sits on air suspension by Air Lift Performance, allowing a fully aired-out stance without sacrificing drivability.
Design direction:
• Extreme yet functional widebody architecture
• Clean white body contrasted with gloss black aero elements
• Deep black wheels to visually anchor the silhouette
• Low, tense, and intentionally overconfident stance
The goal was to preserve the recognizable DNA of the Volkswagen Golf R while amplifying its visual mass and road dominance.
Modeled and rendered in Blender 4.2.3 LTS.
